THERE IS NOTHING LIKE BEING RICH. At least rich enough to create your own backyard golf course.
Since these home golf courses are officiall off-the-golf course we should talk about them a bit. The thing that
doesn’t make these cross-golf courses are that everyone is using ‘real golf balls’. I wonder if they used
urban – crossgolf balls? They could turn begin using more than their wedges. Of course the first one is
Tiger Woods killer spread in Jupiter, Fla…if he hasn’t given away in the DV.
Here is the Golf Digest slide show: http://www.golfdigest.com/golf-courses/2010-11/photos-backyard-golf-holes#slide=1

Tiger Woods’ newest home in Jupiter, Fla., This is truly the ultimate backyard practice range. It’s set up so
that Mr. 14-time major champion Woods has the luxury to practice just about every shot under every
wind condition. Personally I would just want to invite all my buddies and put on an awesome glow golf
tournament.

Future baseball hall of famer John Smoltz owns the ultimate synthetic backyard golf course in Ball Ground, Ga.
It has nine different tee boxes and three synthetic greens. Imagine a backyard tournie with balls flying over
the patio above. I think we need to send Mr. Smoltz some almostGolf balls. I think he’d have a fit.

.
Of course Mr. Hall of famer has a green at the back of his baseball field. Check out the back stop. This is like
a grown ups play ground.

I guess they grabbed these shots from a heliocopter because there is no name to this awesome backyard
hole in Bend, Ore. Once again, we could create such an amazing crossgolf course around this guys proporty
by using all the property along the left side of the property.

The backyard golf course award goes to the president of Vornado Realty, Mike Fascitelli of Guilford, Conn.
Of course he  holds golf memberships to several prestigious clubs. (but I wonder what his real handicap is)
It’s just one killer par 3 along the long island sound. But just imagine teeing off from that tuft of grass
on the island to the top right. That’s a true backyard golf hole.
.
.
Here is another angle of my fantasy tee box out in the water. Also check out the shots you could make over
the house. this guy has some serious real estate for a true neighborhood golf tournament.

This is another ‘private’ golf hole just a mile from famed Cypress Point Club, Pebble Beach, Calif. I would
suspect you have some killer wind issues for most of the year. Just look at the waves. I would actually go
next door, to the right and see if the neighbor would allow me to tee off their elevated backyard tee box
behind their house. How cool would that be..

.

See how you could tee off from the house above the property. Now that is a neighorhood golf course in my
book.

Matt Keller of Scottsdale, Ariz. wins the synthetic backyard golfers ‘lighting’ award. Imagine a nice wedge
from the patio, over the water and onto the green.

Great post here – love them all. You could really create some cool stuff with AG balls on these greens. I hope they all know about them – if not they are really missing out on using these greens to there fullest potiental.
