WHAT CAN YOU CALL BUBBA WATSON? The Bubbanator? Bubba the Bomber? The master blaster? I can’t decide on his nickname because Bubba went beyond the realm of long drive king. He actually put his short game together with his game altering long drives to win the Farmer Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.
Though Phil Michelson nearly holed out his final shot from 60 yards to get second place and PGA shot of the week honors, it’ really came down to Bubba being bubbalicious.
